• To provide an on-line alternative to access quality on-line news and information in an easy to find format
• To give anyone the opportunity to report on world events as they see them
• Give the world a on-line voice that best represents them
• Provide users with a chance to feedback on issues in the news
• To give fair, accurate and balanced information
• Ensure that anyone who has a viewpoint is given the chance to express them.
• Be open about correcting incorrect information
• Not to accept any income that erodes our editorial independence
• Respond immediately to any feedback from users and investigate solutions to their ideas
• Correctly label any opinions or commentaries and not disguise them as fact
• Not under any circumstances sell editorial space as advertising
• Have our aims and objectives open to public discussion and responsive to feedback
