The world renowned United States based philosopher
and linguist Professor Noam Chosky who developed the
concept of transformational grammar embodying his
theories about the relationship between language and
mind and an underlying universal structure of language.
His ideas have influenced psychologists concerned
with language. Critic of Imperialism Professor Noam
Chosky predicts that an art of co-ordinating things
to achieve best result is not effectively carried
out in related with the existing policy of globalization
which India follows, will result in doubling poverty
in Subcontinent. No country in the world especially
United States have released from the harmful clutches
of globalization.
The more ascending of haves and the more descending
of have-nots is the final outcome of liberalisation.
Giving a fair example Chomsky presenting the sad state
of affairs occurred due to the globalization in Mexico.
After 1995 the ill effect of globalization had take
its toll in Mexico where the income of salaried workers
had fallen to 25% and that of self-employed by 40%.
Escalation of massive capital investment is the wide
propaganda of pro-globalization
The actual statistic figure the ascending of investment
rested to few American companies. In a nutshell American
companies exploited maximum labour by minimum wages.
The picture is around 40 people become in poverty
line. Globalization only benefited a section of societies
in various countries including United States. This
enabled to widen the gap between the haves and have-nots
and this would lead to unrest among the underprivileged.
Mexico witnessed highest rate of poverty with in the
span of 10 years due to the liberalisation. Capital
investment, though, intended for a better economy.
But this open doors to the Imperialist to enter in
power politics and in other fields in the country
with out any hindrances. Assessing the Living Index
of India, Noam Chosky predicts dark future in the
country. The living Index during the period of 1996-97
was 7.8% which descended to 5.2% in 2000-01.
In India a wide spread propaganda exist that the country
had advanced in trade sector. But it didn't explain
how far the involvement of farmers and small scale
industries in the advanced trade sector. Agriculture
and small scale Industries become non-profitable.
India being proud of self-sufficient in food sector,
deliberately forgotten the prevalent 40% poverty in
the country compared to the other nations in the world.
Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minister of India, the
architect behind the implementation of liberalisation,
quoted recently a change in their policies of globalization
is highly inevitable, bounding humanitarian concepts.
But his followers are not keen in the subject matter
of a positive amendment in the policy of liberalisation.
Bharatia Janata Party was the arch critic of liberalisation
while they are in opposition. Now the Union Government
headed by Bharatia Janata Party is the forerunner
for the widespread implementation of liberalisation.
Indian National Congress the opposition party in
Parliament had shown some leniency towards the liberalisation.
Arch critics in the opposition have no audacity
to implement their views whenever they assume power,
is the common phenomena in political circle, which
the people of India witnesses since decades. The
people have to join hands to oppose such type of
explorations. The harmful effects of globalization
had brought about unity among people at the grass
root level. In India there exists a selected peaceful
path followed by last generation for freedom struggle
followed by for the self sufficient in food sector.
This path itself won the respect even before the
Imperialists, which we have to uppermost level.
The farmers strength of unity shown by boycotting
palm-oil due to reluctant attitude taken by the
government towards the important policy of palm-oil,
is a timely reaction.
Professor Noam Chosky imagine such type of timely
reactions against the explication of liberalisation.
The world will have a good future only if there
is a timely reaction against the explications of
big powers.
